Dr. William J. Murzic
Fellowship Trained, Board Certified Orthopedic SurgeonWilliam J. Murzic, MD is a specialist in hip and knee reconstruction. His practice is exclusively joint replacement. He has more than 30 years of experience in hip and knee replacement, as well as complex revision surgery. His interests include mini-invasive techniques, rapid recovery, and outpatient joint replacement. He only utilizes technologies that have been shown to improve outcomes. He has a BA in economics at Columbia College, and received his MD at Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed a six-year residency in orthopaedic surgery at Duke University Medical Center. He completed a one-year joint reconstruction/robotic fellowship at Sutter General Hospital / UC Davis Research Labs in Sacramento, California. He is on the active staff at MGB Salem Hospital, Atlantic Coast Surgical Suites in Seabrook, NH, Mass General North Shore, and Lahey Health/Beverly Hospital.
